The Continental is well-known for its brunches, with some even claiming it is the best spot to have those bottom-less Mimosas and Bloody Maries (25$) in Miami. The menu has a great variety of dishes, that are divided into sections representing different times of the day. “Morning” category, for example, has all the egg plates that you might think of (14-20$), pancakes (15$), and french toasts (16$). “Afternoon” part calls for something that is not necessarily less filling but is generally associated with lunch food: several salad options (with burrata one being a standout, 17$), as well as sandwiches (13-17$). With high-priced tags for coffee drinks (starting at 4.5$), it is a relief to know there are complimentary refills. Unfortunately, it still does not compensate for the fact that cappuccino resembles (milky but still quite good) americano: taking a wild guess, we can assume that steamed milk foam went for a swim instead of resting in the cup.
